About the Job

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of technology, data, SaaS and/or services sales experience and strong relationships in the healthcare market with a deep understanding of how to create and progress opportunities. The primary role of this Sales Executive position is to generate, qualify, and close new business with Management and C-Level decision makers in the payer market. This position requires a true hunter mentality. Our people agenda means you will benefit from mentoring, development and continued training.

Position Responsibilities

  • Hunt for new business within the payer market
  • Create and maximize pipeline opportunities.
  • Utilize Challenger Sales approach to position WellStack as a Business Partner within the payer organization and to develop value propositions for individual pursuits.
  • Establish criteria to qualify deals; conduct initial assessment if a deal is a “go/no go”; and perform periodic internal checkpoints to help mature deal content
  • Utilizes advanced knowledge of solution offerings and understanding of the customer’s business to develop customized proposals that present creative solutions that successfully sell the organization’s capabilities.
  • Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geography or channel
  • Collaborates with solution teams to ensure that delivery capability matches the proposed solution.
  • Maintains a high level of industry, organization, product and service knowledge to transfer this knowledge to customers and prospects.

Position Qualifications

  • Ability and willingness to travel 50%+ of the time
  • Strong understanding of the challenges within Healthcare that technology and analytics can solve
  • Demonstrated experience selling to Healthcare Payers
  • Recognized as an SME on the WellStack solutions and competitors
  • Strategic agility to interface and successfully influence multiple Manager and C-level executives within the prospect organization
  • Experience with effectively utilizing CRM and data bases preferably HubSpot and ZoomInfo
  • Demonstrated success closing 7 digit opportunities
  • Effective anticipation of how market and competitive factors will influence the selling of WellStack solutions
  • Strong organizational, planning, tracking and measurement of activity
  • Experience selling into the C-suite, VP level, Department Director levels
