Product Analyst, Quality Management Products

Location: Remote/Hybrid – USA | 15% Travel

Reports To: SVP, Product Management

Role Overview

As a Product Analyst for our Quality Management Data & Analytics products, you will report directly to the SVP of Product Management. You will serve as the primary owner of WellStack Quality Management suite of analytics, insights, and dashboards. You will partner with other product team members, client success managers, implementation, and engineering to ensure client’s deliverables meet their requirements. This individual will sit between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that data solutions align with organizational goals, deliver value, and drive quality performance decision-making.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality measure management, data management, analytics, and product ownership principles, matched by excellent communication and leadership skills. This role may require travel (~15%).

Key Responsibilities

Product Features and Insights

Own the definitions and products for quality analytics modules, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs (includes HEDIS, Star, CQM, eCQM, custom logic, other CMS metrics, RESDAC, clinical classification codes groups, & other logic)

Ensure quality metrics are aligned to other contract performance measures and grouped within proper data hierarchies

Work with clinical data expertise to ensure codes pulled from clinical data are appropriately transformed and standardized into broader code rules logic (including EHR data from Epic, Cerner, eCW, others)

Prioritize and manage the product backlog based on business value, feasibility, and impact

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories

Stakeholder Communication

Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business leaders, to ensure successful definitions and delivery of quality metric performance data and analytics solutions

Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality metric management-related products and initiatives

Communicate product updates, milestones/barriers, and project performance metrics to stakeholders effectively

Project Management

Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, including sprint planning, reviews, QA and retrospectives

Mitigate risks and resolve roadblocks during the product development lifecycle

Track progress and performance of deliverables and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope, and notify leadership and key stakeholders if delivery falls behind schedule

Develop Demonstration Materials

Work with advisors to develop and prepare product demonstrations and vignettes to potential clients or pipeline clients specific to our product offerings

Support the sales pipeline with discovery questions you may often experience as a product analyst based on client interactions

Technical Skills

Ability to independently explore data through analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python)

Experience working in data warehouses, ETL processes, and database technologies (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, BigQuery)

Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).

Knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PII)

Proficiency with Agile development tools such as Confluence

Adept understanding of quality rules logic within program applicability (such as CMS P4P programs)

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field (master’s strongly preferred).

5+ years of experience in product ownership, data analytics, or a related field.

Proven record of accomplishment managing data products or platforms using Agile methodologies.

Experience in US healthcare with a strong foundational understanding of end-to-end quality measure performance data within health system and providers, event-based and patient-based metrics.

Proficiency in Microsoft, Confluence/JIRA, project management software, and data analytics tools.

Proficient in SQL

Prefer experience with EHR backend tables
